About dezign-kidz.com

Dezign-Kidz started in 2020 for a Genius Hour Project in my 5th/6th grade class at Great Works Montessori.  My teacher Mr. David Brennan encouraged us to come up with our own project that we would be passionate about. Ever since I was young, my dad and I  would take broken toys, combine them, and make them into new toys that were even better than the original toys. I am passionate about art and toys.  This project brings both of those passions together.

Each month, we will set up a contest where kids will submit a drawing of their toy idea.  The winner's drawing will go to a student industrial designer from Metro State University to produce a 3-D rendering that can be printed. The contest winner gets the toy for free and a limited number will be for sale on the website.  We will donate one toy for each one sold to a local children's hospital.
